Director of Partnerships

Position Summary:

FoundersCard is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Partnerships to lead the sourcing, negotiation, and onboarding of high-value and exclusive benefits for our community of 250k entrepreneurs, executives and professionals. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the affluent consumer market and a strong ability to identify and secure partnerships that resonate with the FoundersCard member community.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development:
    • Identify and source new benefit partners that align with the FoundersCard community's interests and values.
  • Negotiation & Collaboration:
    • Lead negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements with partners to bring best-in-class benefits to our members, ensuring alignment with our brand and business goals.
  • Onboarding & Implementation:
    • Manage the onboarding process for new partners, ensuring seamless integration into the FoundersCard platform and an exceptional member experience.
  • Market Insight:
    • Stay updated on trends and preferences within the affluent consumer market to ensure the relevance and appeal of benefits offered.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners to foster long-term collaboration and success.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Monitor the performance and utilization of partnerships, providing data-driven insights to optimize and enhance the benefit portfolio.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, member services, and product teams to effectively communicate and promote new benefits to the FoundersCard community.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of partnership experience, ideally focused on affluent consumers.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing, negotiating, and managing high-value partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury and premium consumer market, including trends and key players.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate partnership success and make data-driven decisions.
  • Passion for entrepreneurship and an understanding of the needs and aspirations of FoundersCard members.

Things to Know:

  • This role is in-office full time. Our office is in Midtown Manhattan.
  • The compensation range for this role is $135k - $175k.
